British Fencing Association
Every fencer in the UK, whatever his or her standard, benefits in some way from the services provided by the British Fencing Association, which is the governing body of fencing in this country.
Most clubs are affiliated to the British Fencing Association (BFA) and information on local clubs and regional fencing organisers may be obtained from them.
The BFA runs short courses throughout the country for fencers and non-fencers to learn to teach fencing. The courses cover all aspects of safety, class teaching techniques, group management and club Organisation.
Back-up information packs are available, together with posters and promotional leaflets.
