Fencing is a fun and exciting way to improve your fitness in a friendly social environment.

Fencing has been a modern Olympic sport since 1896. It can be a fast paced combative sport, which has often been referred to as Physical Chess.
Fencing is for everyone, regardless of age or skill level.
There are three main types of fencing weapons and fencing disciplines; foil, epee, and sabre. Each uses a different style of sword, set of rules and skills.

Bexley Fencing Club has both recreational and competitive fencers of all ages.

Come for the exercise, come to make friends.

The club is based around Bexley, Sidcup, Bexleyheath and Welling on the London and Kent border at the Sidcup Leisure Centre as well as Erith and Northumberland Heath at the Erith Leisure Centre.

We run regular coaching courses for both experienced fencers and beginners. we also regularly run friendly club level competitions.
